Aqqord is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The negotiation you would expect the solicitors to have has already been done, which is why plenty of people complete a lease with us without instructing a solicitor. Solicitors with decades of experience in commercial property wrote the clause library the platform drafts from, and they keep it up to date.
The landlord and tenant agree the commercial terms on the platform: the rent, the length of the lease, any break, and the rest. The platform then drafts the lease from those terms, in wording negotiated to be fair to both sides. So once the deal is agreed, nobody has to argue over the legal drafting.
