It was established in collaboration with Logican, a specialist software solutions company that’s been innovating in the property and legal industry since 2005.

Our technical head, Yaakov Smith, an Oxford University first class graduate, brought experience as Head of IT at a large legal practice into the Aqqord mix.
He launched Logican in 2005, which specialises in automation of document generation within the property and legal sectors. He realised that his expertise could be used to streamline the commercial lease process.
Legal expertise
Richard Kaufman is a specialist property lawyer, with over four decades of experience most of which were as a senior partner in a prominent London law firm.
He has overseen the process of drafting the documents to ensure they are legally binding and fair to landlords and tenants alike.
